A second phase of Tax Caravan ended today with a meeting held in Cetinje. Tax Caravan was realized by Tax Administration in cooperation with Montenegrin Employers Federation and local governments.
Today’s session was opened by Mr. Mugosa, Tax Administration Director who presented results of Tax Administration endeavors regarding managing tax debt, tax claims reprogramming and tax collection, with special focus on proactive approach in communication with tax payers and simplification of tax application and payment procedures.
Suzana Radulovic, MEF Secretary General, welcomed employers gathered at the event, highlighting that Tax Caravan was only one of cooperation outcomes between Tax Administration and that employers’ association adding that only by direct contact and exchange of information between private and public sector could the legislative and administrative framework be enhanced so that it provided quality conditions for strengthening economic activity in Montenegro.
