MEF 15th anniversary celebrated today

Ceremonial Assembly Session by which MEF marked 15 years of its existence and work was held today at hotel Hilton in Podgorica.

The event that was organized within regular annual MEF General Assembly session chaired by its President Mr Ivan Mitrovic was attended by delegates – MEF members, Government and public officials, trade unions representatives as well as representatives of International Labor Organization, diplomatic corps and employers organizations from the region.

The session was officially opened by the President of Assembly Mr Ivan Mitrovic, after which the delegates and guests were addressed by:

• Ms Svetlana Vuksanovic, MEF President,
• Mr Dusko Markovic, Prime Minister of Montenegro,
• Mr Dragan Radic, Employers Activities Specialist at ILO Office in Budapest
• Mr Kemal Purisic, President of Social Council of Montenegro.

Video messages on this occasion were sent by:

• Linda Kromjong, Secretary General of International Organization of Employers (IOE),
• Markus Beyrer, General Director of BUSINESSEUROPE.

On the occasion of the Ceremonial Assembly, MEF gave awards of appreciation to its founders – directors of Montinvest LLC, Montplan LLC, NEC, Mil Pop LLC and Green House LLC as well as to Mr Dragan Radic, Employers Activities Specialist at ILO Office in Budapest.

Special awards of appreciation for remarkable cooperation and special contribution to MEF development and work were given to Mr Predrag Mitrovic, an Ambassador of Montenegro in Macedonia and to Mr Ivan MItrovic, a first MEF President and now a President of MEF Assembly.

For the purpose of this event a short film on founding, work, achievements and goals of MEF was created and played for delegates and guests.
