Within ESAP project aimed at improving the functioning of Economic and Social Councils in the Western Balkans, a High-level Sub-Regional Conference on Economic and Social Councils Peer Review in the Western Balkans took place in Belgrade on 5-6th of July.
Montenegrin delegation consisted of representatives of the Social Council of Montenegro: Zoran Ratkovic (a Government representative), Vukasin Zogovic (a trade union representative), Suzana Radulovic (an employers’ association representative) and Natasa Vukasinovic, a Secretary of the Social Council.
Introductory words in the opening session were conveyed by Antonio Graziosi, ILO DWT/CO-Budapest Director, Musa Umaru, Governance and Tripartism Director at ILO Geneva and Kiril Kiryakov from the European Commission.
During the conference, teams for assessment of Economic and Social Councils within ESAP project presented their findings and recommendations while the external consultant provided a comparative analysis of the existing situation and the overall project recommendations.
