At the annual Assembly session of the Montenegrin Employers' Federation (MEF), Slobodan Mikavica was elected as the new President of MEF, and Slaviša Šćekić as the new President of the MEF Assembly.

Slobodan Mikavica is the CEO of Elko Tim company, and Slaviša Šćekić is the CEO of Double L company. Prior to their election to these new positions, both of them served as vice-presidents of MEF and were members of the Executive and Management Boards of MEF.

During the procedure of electing new leadership, the Assembly delegates were informed that the mandate of the former president of MEF, Predrag Mitrović, had ended at his request due to taking up the position of chargé d'affaires at the Embassy of Montenegro in Serbia. It was also noted that the four-year mandate of the former president of the MEF Assembly, Nebojša Popović, had expired.
