A sub-regional technical cooperation seminar as part of the project “Employment and Social Affairs Platform (ESAP)”, financed by EU and implemented by International Labour Organization (ILO) was held on October 3-4, 2016 in Becici. The aim of the project is to offer a peer review and evaluation of the functioning of the national economic and social councils in the Western Balkan countries, identify good practices and challenges and recommend ways of overcoming the barriers these bodies are come across.
Beside representatives of European Commission and International Labour Organisation, the seminar gathered representatives of ministries of labour, employers and workers associations from Western Balkan countries.
Suzana Radulovic, MEF Secretary General, was one of the panellists in the discussion: Economic and Social Councils in the Western Balkans.
