Strengthen the capacity of social partners in the participating countries to contribute to national and European SD;
Making the negotiators at the sectorial level acquainted with the relevant content of the collective agreement and instruct them on techniques/skills of negotiations in order to further develop and strengthen the SD, which is essential for achieving long-term prosperity and social peace;
Examine the feasibility of adaptation and implementation of the Acquis Communautaire (EU law as well as European standards);
Examine the idea of European Qualifications and Skills’ Passport as well as the feasibility of its implementation in each participating countries;
Increasing the awareness and understanding of national employers and workers representatives of European (Sectorial) SD and the fact that it is a level where the voice of national social partners and sectors can be heard in order to increase employment and remain competitive;
Adaptation of SD to changes in employment and work related challenges, such as the modernization of the labor market, flexicurity, skills and qualifications, quality of work and decent work.
